  It was a joy meeting you and I can’t thank you enough for showing me the ropes with me new Equinox and setting up my On-Star and Bluetooth.  As I had mentioned to you on Saturday…I have a pretty neat testimony about Hendrick’s Chevrolet.

Hendrick’s Chevrolet has my permission to use this testimony…..

Before test driving a car at a nearby competitor in Lawrenceville (Hayes Dodge/Chrysler) I told the salesman that this was my first place to start but that I wouldn’t consider buying a car from them until I went to Rick Hendrick’s Chevrolet and after that I would make a decision.  During my test drive with a third car, the second I turned the radio on to hear the sound system in the car…there was a commercial for Hendrick’s Chevrolet and that they had the best deals and all the while my salesman was clearing his throat loudly!  After the test drive we went in to see what they would allow on my car for a trade-in.  Sadly (at the time) they offered a ridiculous trade in value for my car.  I told the finance guy that this was an unacceptable amount and that if they could reconsider the amount, we might could do business.  Each time I pulled in the parking lot after test driving each car…I made a comment each time to my salesman that it was very uncomfortable when I pulled back onto the lot and each and every sales person was just sitting on a bench..about total and they ALL had eyes on me.  I told the sales man its said they don’t have anything better to do with their time!  Well,  4 1/2 hours later I received a voice mail from Hayes and they said they would give me an additional $2500 more for my car than they originally had told me.  A few minutes later, I receive a text message from them stating that they were going to give me what I was asking for.  Immediately I responded to them and said…sorry but its too late, Hendricks has blessed me with a trade in value $4,000 more dollars than you originally were going to give me and the sale papers are being written up right now.   Less than 5 minutes go by and they’re calling me again for my business to say they can work with me.  Once again…I said “it’s too late….I just bought the first car that I test drove with Hendrick’s and they kindly gave me more than I was even asking for for the trade in value!

This was my first purchase from Hendricks.  After having the “red carpet” spread out before me as I’m going to test drive the beautiful Chevy Equinox, the car was sitting there with vallet parking and the knowledgeable salesperson “Tonna” had given me the introduction to the car’s safety features before I even stepped into the car …I was sold on Hendrick’s!  When returning from the test drive….all the salesman were so busy helping other customers that there was no one sitting on a bench starring at me when I drove back onto the lot!   Just when I thought it  couldn’t get any better, it continued to climb!  Each employee all round us were being so helpful and not just “pointing” to the restrooms but walking you right to the door and asking if they could go get a sandwich for you while you wait for the finance guy and bringing you bottles of water…I was amazed!  I was so impressed that I couldn’t wait to right this testimony…which I never compliment to this extent…Hendrick’s Chevrolet….YOU’RE THE BEST!!

‘2012 Indy Dream Weekend’ Sweepstakes to Coincide with HendrickCars.com Re-Launch

CHARLOTTE, N.C., February 13, 2012HendrickCars.com will sponsor three NASCAR teams in select races in early 2012. The sponsorships will promote the new-look retail automotive website, which re-launched Feb. 1, and coincide with the HendrickCars.com “2012 Indy Dream Weekend” sweepstakes.

 

The program will kick off during Speedweeks in Daytona Beach, Fla., with primary sponsorship of Phoenix Racing and 2004 NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Kurt Busch in the Feb. 25 Nationwide Series race and Feb. 26 Daytona 500. It will continue with primary sponsorship of JR Motorsports and driver Cole Whitt in the March 17 Nationwide event at Bristol, Tenn.

 

In addition, HendrickCars.com will be a major associate sponsor of the Richard Childress Racing No. 33 Chevrolet with driver Elliott Sadler in NASCAR’s biggest race, the Daytona 500.

 

In conjunction with the sponsorship, HendrickCars.com is launching the “2012 Indy Dream Weekend” sweepstakes. From Feb. 13 through March 19, visitors can log onto HendrickCars.com to register for a chance to win a weekend for two at the July 29 Sprint Cup race in Indianapolis. The winner and a guest will receive behind-the-scenes access, a tour of the historic racing venue, VIP seats in a trackside suite and more. The winner will be announced March 23 at www.HendrickCars.com.

 

Features of the new HendrickCars.com include streamlined navigation, an expanded offering of used cars and the addition of thousands of new vehicles. The site also has added performance and classic cars, commercial vehicles and motorcycles to its inventory. Customers can view detailed information for nearly 20,000 vehicles, including up to 60 images per listing.

Just wanted to let you know I finally received my survey and I filled it out and submitted it. Being completely honest, I am completely satisfied with my experience with you and the whole Hendrick team so far. My only disappointment was that I was limited in the number of words I could put in the comment section. I wanted to give more details on the things you did for me that really made me a big fan of you and Rick Hendrick Chevrolet. In addition to everything I said in the comment section on the survey I wanted to thank you again for showing me the new Equinox, Cruze, and Malibu when I stopped by the other day. I really appreciated you taking the time just to show me around even knowing I definitely wasn’t purchasing a second vehicle! I’m working hard to get my girlfriend to ditch the Honda and get into a new Chevy, though.

Some of my friends, family, and coworkers are in the market for new vehicles and I don’t have enough good things to say about you and your whole team. With my Colorado being new I haven’t yet had the opportunity to work with the service department but when I get a few thousand miles on the odometer and the time comes to bring it in for scheduled maintenance I know I will have a great experience there as well. 

I tried to CC Shon on this e-mail so that he can share my experience with your leadership. Could you forward this to him just to be sure?

You will probably see me again pretty soon because I’ve got my eye on that mirror finish “Heartbeat of America” plate to go on my front bumper!

Joann Matthews, our HR and Payroll Manager retired last month after 20 years at Rick Hendrick Chevrolet of Duluth. She was awarded employee of the year for 5 years in a row! Joann plans to spend the next 20 years hiking and going on vacations with family and friends. She will be missed!
